Xialou, and Fixxer,          I have seen the same behavior when conencting to the Reuters Messenging Service, which is just a modified LCS server. I can send out with no problem what so ever. If i try to send messages to my own name on it, or to anyone else on RM. I see  typing  but i if the message comes in i would be suprised. I'm not sure what the problem is. This is almost a tease since that is the only application that keeps me from switching completely to linux. I can send you some logs in debug.My enviorment:Ubuntun 8.10Pidgin 2.5.2sipe 1.3.3
